Birthday cards and a special treat!

Birthdays happen every day so all year long we are signing and sending PERSONALIZED birthday cards to the children in foster care. We always include a little treat, too! Usually it’s a $5 gift card for ice cream but gift cards for other kinds of treats works just as well. The kids are just happy to be remembered.

Having a ready supply of age-appropriate birthday cards is harder than it sounds. If you think about it, that is A LOT of cards! When possible, the gift cards are donated by local businesses but if you would like to make a monetary donation for the purchase $5 gift cards, we’d sure appreciate it!
Providing personalized birthday cards lets the children know that they are special and remembered on their special day.
